Bishop Kevin Vann supports the growth of Eucharistic Adoration encouraging and authorizing every parish to grow Eucharistic Adoration especially with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Every parish has permission to increase Exposition to the level they see fit.
He has formed a committee at the Diocesan level and charged them with the responsibility of furthering Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition of The Blessed Sacrament in Parishes throughout the Diocese of Orange. This effort builds upon the leadership of Bishop William Johnson, the first Bishop of our Diocese who established Eucharistic Adoration in all of our parishes in 1976 for the fostering of vocations to the priesthood and religious life and for the holiness and welfare of our entire Diocese, as mentioned in the “Diocesan History” page on this site.
The most important work of this committee is to connect with each parish and center in the Diocese of Orange with a goal of educating and inspiring Catholics to embrace Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. This website is part of that effort.
